FAQs
In the mountains, there is no room for improvisation. We focus on professional logistics, certified guides, and a clear priority on safety and planning. We believe the mountain is not conquered, but respected.
Absolutely. All our mountain guides are certified by IFMGA / UIAGM. They are supported by years of experience in high-altitude climbing, glaciers, and technical expeditions.
We promote responsible mountaineering. We aim to minimize environmental impact while fostering respect for local communities and Andean culture.
🎒 Gear & Equipment
What technical equipment is included in the fee?
We provide the essential technical gear for the activity, including:
Mountaineering helmet.
Harness.
Mountaineering ice axe and crampons.
HMS carabiner.
While you are welcome to use your own equipment if it meets high-mountain standards , we offer rental options for items you might be missing. We also have a partnership with a specialized provider to offer discounts to our participants.
We recommend a three-layer system:
Base Layer: Thermal tops and leggings (synthetic or merino wool).
Insulation Layer: Fleece jacket and softshell or trekking pants.
Outer Shell: Waterproof and windproof jacket and pants.
Note: A heavy down jacket is also required for additional insulation.
💪 Experience & Requirements
Do I need prior experience to climb in Ecuador?
It depends on the program:
Explorer Series: Designed for beginners or active travelers seeking «soft adventure».
Signature & Elite Series: Best for fit travelers or intermediate climbers.
Express Ascent Series: Only for experienced and already well-acclimatized clients.
For our main objectives like Cotopaxi or Chimborazo, an intermediate to advanced fitness level is recommended. We design itineraries that respect the body’s adaptation process to altitude.

4-star hotels in Quito.
Selected premium haciendas or Andean lodges.
